Textys / Tech pack agent

AI agent that reads the tech pack and prepares the article in Odoo

Brands send the tech pack as a PDF or Excel file. Today someone retypes it into the system, field by field. The Textys agent reads the file and proposes the Odoo records; the person who knows the product reviews and validates.

What the agent proposes from a tech pack

  • the article, identified by its reference and name
  • the size and colour variants
  • the bill of materials, with its quantities
  • the suppliers of each component
  • the operations (cutting, sewing, packing), done in house or subcontracted
  • the sample manufacturing order

How it works

  1. UploadThe tech pack is dropped into the import area. Analysis runs in the background.
  2. ReviewThe screen shows each extracted field with its confidence level. Doubtful fields turn red with a “review” label. A quantity the tech pack does not give is flagged, as is a component without a supplier.
  3. CorrectEach value is corrected on the same screen.
  4. Confirm and createThe records are created in Odoo in one go.
  5. UndoA confirmed import can be undone by administrators.

Nothing goes in without review

The agent proposes, the team decides. What the tech pack does not say is left empty and flagged, not invented. Each import keeps the source file and the list of what it created.

Frequently asked questions

Does the agent record anything without review?

No. The agent proposes and your team validates on screen. Any creation can be undone.

Which files does it accept?

Tech packs as PDF and Excel files.

What if the tech pack gives no quantity?

The field is flagged for manual entry. The agent does not invent values.

Is Textys suitable for footwear?

The initial focus is garments and textiles. For footwear, we talk during the diagnostic.
